Decided to try this place after seeing several great reviews on my Orleans Foodies group. I have to agree! Ordered online through their website for pickup an hour later and when we arrived early, they were still making my food, which means it wasn't sitting around (a good thing!). Portions were generous and the food was delicious, not at all greasy. The Egg Foo Yung in particular was excellent, with delicious gravy. Egg rolls were tasty too! Thanks for a great dinner!

Had a combination plate, and it was both plentiful and delicious! Wonderfully surprised. Best "canadian-chinese" I've had in quite some time. Loved the egg roll, meaty, and the extra chicken balls in the fried rice was a nice touch. Thanks Lucky Star!

Lucky Star Chinese is fantastic! I love this place. Food pricing is competitive with alternate Chinese food locations: super fast service, kind & humble people. Always a pleasure doing business with you guys. I will see you again lol

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Not only was our food really good and reasonably priced, it was delivered piping hot fifteen minutes after we ordered it. Granted we do live close by and they do their own deliveries. The hot and sour soup, Cantonese chow mein and the beef with black bean sauce are favourites with us. This place never disappoints.Yes, it might seem pricy but you get enough leftovers for a second meal so it’s actually good value.

I am updating my review... IMO living in Orleans for 20+ years, Lucky Star is my go-to for chinese food. It's consistently good. Eggrolls are great as is their Chop Suey and chicken balls. In the many many times we have ordered it's been excellent. I typically pickup and 99.5% of the time I don't have to wait unless it's a special holiday. This is a pickup only business, there is no indoor dining. Counter service is always with a smile and one thing they do amazing is package your food. We re-use the containers and typically it gets all put in a box (family orders). I am really surprised it's 4.1 compared to the others. I've had the others and others and I can't say they were any better. Highly suggest Lucky Star.
